Grew up in:  Lisle, IL
Lives in:  North Chattanooga
How long have you been doing hair? I started doing hair in 1994 and wow have things changed. My first 10 years were spent on advanced haircutting training and deep diving into hair color theory + techniqes.  Now, my focus is on Trichology-helping bridge the hair gap between dermatologists and hair dressers. 
Specialties:  Trichological services specializing in helping people with hair loss and scalp solutions. Assisting women through the appearance related side effects of chemotherapy and radiation. 
What advice would I give young stylists? Always be open to continuing your education and repetition of that training. It takes years to master our craft and constant practice. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes or take direction/feedback. That’s what makes you better. Turn that opportunity into a chance to learn & grow. Volunteer your time and your craft. I have worked with Look Good, Feel Better, a national organization, for over 20 years helping women learn about the appearance related side affect of chemo & radiation. Facilitating these workshops has been one of the most fulfilling things I've done in my career. Don't forget to give back.
